Magnolia Trees

Tree Blooming

Anonymous added on September 17, 2015 | Answered

Our magnolia tree - the real one, not hybrid - is blooming right now. It's still a small tree. We planted it about ten years ago and, frankly, it resembles a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. There are 56 buds or blossoms on it right now. I'm not complaining, it's beautiful but I do wonder why. That's my question. Thanks.

You may want to do a soil test to see if the soil needs some amending.

Here is a link that will help you pinpoint the growing issues.
