Q.Trimming Sagos When Head Is Fuzzy

We transplanted a 4 foot sago. The fronds turned brown and started sagging, and it has a fuzzy head. Is it ok that I cut the frawns off?

I suggest letting it recover from the shock of being transplanted a while longer.
