Can you trim a burning bush after it leafs out, in June?

If you want to do light pruning for shape you can do it now. If you need to do extensive pruning or rejuvenation pruning (cutting it 6 to 12 inches from the ground), it's best to wait till late winter or early spring while the shrub is still dormant.
