Q.Troubled Trees

Anonymous added on April 30, 2014 | Answered

My money tree’s leaves are turning brown and falling off. Why? My Majesty palm looks parched. I’ve misted it and gave it more water. Its recovery is too slow. There are now worms in the soil! Help!

The money tree could be developing a fungus. Treat the plant with fungicide and see if this helps. Also remove affected leaves. In addition, something could be restricting the roots, preventing them from taking up water. This could be true of the palm too, especially if worms are in the plant soil. You may need to repot in fresh soil.
