Q.trees

Zone Scotland | paulturnbull71 added on May 1, 2016 | Answered

I’m looking for a lovely tree for my garden to look at through the patio doors. It can’t grow beyond about 2.5 m and need help to find out which ones would be suitable, as a lot of trees grow higher than this.
Any help appreciated.
Kind regards
Paul

It is good to access your soil, sunlight and growing zone conditions to choose the most appropriate tree for your garden.

Visit your local garden centers and greenhouses and look for potential tree choices.
Drive around the neighborhood and see what is planted in your area.

I would urge you to contact your local County Extension Office for a list of trees that are recommended to be successful in your exact location.
They are a valuable source of information.
If you provide a bit more information to us, we can also help you with more specifics.
