Q.Tree won’t grow

Genie1978 added on June 9, 2012 | Answered

I have three trees in my garden. Two are growing fine but over the last three years the third tree has not grown one inch. I didn’t plant them and wonder if I should dig it up and see what the soil is like as other parts of the garden were full of rocks and bounds?

It is hard to tell what advice to give without knowing what the trees are. If they are all the same variety, there could be an issue. But if they are different variety, the stop in growth may be normal. For example, dogwood trees will never grow as big as maple trees.

Beyond that, there are many issues it could be. If you can let me know the varieties of the trees and if they show any other symptoms, I can better diagnose what is wrong.
