Q.Tree shedding leaves in June and tree leaves are showing signs of disease
I live in Philadelphia. The city planted a tree on my lawn about 4 years ago. I am not sure what type of tree but I have pictures attached. A loss of leaves and some leaves are showing signs of infestation (although I do not see aphids or other insects) or lacing. Not sure if disease or infestation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Many pests and insects are difficult to see with the naked eye.
Look of holes or chew marks in the leaves.
Yellowing or curling of leaves can be indicators of water stress or pests.
I would notify the city of your concerns on the tree health. Trees are an investment and they will likely want to take actions on the care of the tree.
You can also check with your local County Extension Office on the tree identification and the signs of stress your tree is experiencing.
