Q.Treating Lawn Grubs With New Lawn

Anonymous added on August 28, 2011 | Answered

We just moved into our home and planted grass. The grass is still trying to grow. We haven’t even cut it yet, but I noticed that there are grubs in the soil. Can I treat the grub problem with the new lawn?

You can but reseeding may be necessary. Once you have determined for certain that grubs are the issue and treatment has started, it should be safe to reseed the area within a week of treating with chemicals, or anytime using more natural products. This article should help with the grubs: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/lawn-grubs-how-to-get-rid-of-grub-worms.htm
