Q.Transplanting Black Raspberry Bushes

Anonymous added on September 27, 2012 | Answered

I would like to move some black raspberry bushes to a different area. Is that possible without killing them? Could I start new plants from cuttings of the old plants? When would be the best time to do it?

You can move them but I would wait until early spring. The plant will recover better from being moved if it is transplanted then. This article will help with taking cuttings: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/raspberry/propagating-raspberries.htm
