Anonymous added on July 6, 2011 | Answered

A neighbor has a large stand of bamboo and wants to make it smaller. Is there any way I can cut/pull/remove some of the plants and transplant them to my garden?

Yes, it is very easy to grow sdditional bamboo plants. Simply use a shovel to pop up a clump or two and replant elsewhere. One word of caution, however...they can become invasive. For this reason you may want to add a barrier or place in a container.
