Q.Transplanting a 3-Year-Old Lilac, Dwarf

I have two dwarf lilac bushes, both 3 years old, and I need to transplant them to another place in the yard. Any suggestions?

Most transplanting takes place in spring or fall (preferably fall). If you can ensure that the majority of the roots and surrounding soil is lifted and replanted in suitable growing conditions, you'll have a greater chance of success. To reduce shock, trimming may help.
