Q.Tomatoes & Watermelon Watering

Zone Goshen Indiana | Anonymous added on August 14, 2021 | Answered

I have grown tomatoes before. What I have not grown before iw watermelon. I have gotten so many different watering tips and some of them contradict each other. I need to know how to care for them now. I have a lot of yellowing leaves, beginning ones (about size of baseball) dehydrating and yesterday one that was about half grown split open. Help!!could not get my computer to take my camera pictures.

The only rule that you need to know is this:

Water once the soil dries to about 3 or 4 inches, thoroughly. Basically, water as needed, not on schedule. When you do water, do it thoroughly.
