Q.Tomatoes
When are the tomatoes ripe enough to eat?
Certified GKH Gardening Expert
Tomatoes are ready for picking and eating as soon as they have turned red (depending on the variety as some are other colors). You can also pick them when they are still slightly orange-red, as they will continue to ripen once picked from the vine. Just place them in a windowsill.
