Q.Tomato plants checked by cold

Zone Herefordshire | forstay added on May 24, 2012 | Answered

How can I get then growing? Tomato plants grown in polytunnel, planted seeds in Jan 2012 grew well. Had minimal heating. They came into flower in March. They have just come to a standstill and look sad. Have been fed with Liquid seaweed.

They will just need time. If the soil temp is not high enough, they stop growing. It is a protective reaction. As the soil warms up, the plants should start to go into full growth again.
