Can you tell me why the leaves on my toad lily are turning brown?

Normally, if the soil is too dry or your plant is not getting enough water, it will begin to turn brown. I would check the soil moisture and up the watering if necessary. Too much sun can also lead to browning, as these plants prefer shadier conditions and sunny areas tend to dry out quicker. If neither of these is the case with your plant, I would look towards pests or possible fungal disease, both of which can be treated with neem oil.
