Q.Toad in My Kelland (Randburg) Garden
Now and again I hear a toad at night. Now and again it leaves poo on our lawn. Last week it was a big poo and full of insects (beetle wings, etc). I think it is an African Bullfrog. A big one. I don’t want to hurt it, but I’m afraid that one of us is going to get a shock one day when we meet eye to eye. Reading about them, I think it will be ‘hibernating’ and only nostrils will be above ground. How can I find this toad? What should I do with it if I do find it?

Your best bet would be relocation. Catch him and move him to a nearby park. Here is an article on getting rid of toads: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/animals/toad-control.htm
