Q.This Plant Has Gotten Leggy Why?

Zone Temple, Texas | Anonymous added on July 15, 2022 | Answered

It is only about a year old. Never bloomed just got leggy. It gets plenty of light. I thought it might have gotten too much water. I’ve let the soil dry out but the leaves show no sign of drooping. I got it as a young plant in a 2″ pot. It has gotten food for violets about every other week along with my other violets. The other plant on the same self has been blooming and is very healthy. What should I do?

The older leaves at the bottom naturally die out, which can leave it looking leggy. It still looks a little droopy. It may be getting too much water.
