Q.This Is My Second Year Farming a Vegetable Garden

farmerbrown added on January 10, 2011 | Answered

I was trying to get a list of veggies and possible fruits to grow this spring. My family is not picky. We eat just about any fruit and veggie. I’m still learning, so any suggestions would be fine if you have any.

It’s usually better to grow vegetables that you and your family already enjoy in addition to those that are easier to grow. Beets, carrots, lettuce, radishes, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, and beans are all good choices for beginners. Melons are fairly easy to grow as well. This article should help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/melons/growing-melons.htm
