Q.Leaves on red acer/maple are shriveling

Zone S63 9NT | Loretta Cusworth added on June 9, 2015 | Answered

The leaves on our red acer/maple are shriveling up. It has been planted in the ground from a pot after 7 years. What can we do to resolve this problem? It is in the southwest corner of a south-facing garden.

Watering is most likely the issue.
Daily watering is very important for the newly planted tree.

Here is an article with good guidelines for new plantings.
