I water them well twice per week. I fertilized with miracle grow when I planted them. Also, w have had a lot of rain this summer. But I don’t water them if it has rained.

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. It sounds like overwatering, though. Instead of watering on schedule, watering should be done as the soil dries, completely, down to about 2 inches, then watered deeply.
