Q.Temperature Required for a Pot Grown Lemon Tree

Keith nolan added on April 8, 2012 | Answered

I have received a lemon tree as a present. I wish to know when I can safely place it outside, and if I protect it with a geotex cover, can I do it sooner?

Lemon trees thrive within a normal temperature range of about 70 degrees throughout the day and 55 degrees at night. Keep in mind that they will usually go into dormancy when temperatures fall below 55 degrees F. For those grown in containers, the temps should be higher.
