Q.Taro houseplant repotting
My taro is real tall. Can I cut the stalk off some and repot it? Will it form roots or just sit in the dirt and rot? I need to repot i,t as it is up to the ceiling.
Thank you, Jessie
You cannot root the stems of Elephant Ears.
The Elephant Ear plants are bulbs or tubers.
Most people grow Elephant Ears outdoors and then store the dormant plants and bulbs for winter, replanting in the spring.
