not dead it’s trying to sprout again. What do you suggest? Small plants in the ground. I have a 200 year old oak and the canopy has gotten thinner due to hurricanes but my yard does have a lot of dappled shade. No holes in the leaves and their not sticky so I need help.
It could be a phosphorus deficiency. Try adding some bone meal around the plant and working it in lightly.
