I was given a trumpet vine about 2 years ago. It has never flowered. Is it likely to flower after this time?
Yes, the trumpet vine still has the potential to flower. I would recommend you review the article below which will give you ideas on how to spur it to bloom:

My yellow trumpet vines are 2 years old. Next spring will mark their third year in my yard. I have not yet seen a bloom, flower or even a bud. Is there something wrong with it? The vines have grown like crazy, beautiful foliage but no flowers. :(
Your plant is likely not mature enough to bloom.
Also if you over fertilize you may delay blooming even longer. If you have fertilized, do not add more for 1 year.
Check location, Full sun is important for blooming purposes.

I have a plan to plant this flower in my backyard. Unfortunately, I live in a tropical climate where the average temperature is about 27 degrees Celsius. Question: can I continue to plant the flowering trumpet creeper vine? I started stratification in the refrigerator for two weeks. Thanks for your help.
Trumpet creeper (or trumpet vine, botanical name Campsis radicans) is not usually grown in tropical areas, but it does like heat and it might grow in your garden. Since you've already stratified the seeds, you may as well try it. There are also related tropical vines that may do better.

What is wrong with this trumpet vine? It's starting to spread to my other trumpet vines.
This could be a fungus disease, as you mention it spreading.
Remove and prune out disease plant material and dispose of.
Check for insects or any other signs of plant damage.

Trumpet Vine is listed as toxic. It may make pets sick, but it is not considered deadly according to the ASPCA.
Please check with your vet on further concerns and regarding Equine toxicity.
Do you fertilize trumpet vine? If so, when?

I have an established trumpet vine that has been flowering much less the last couple of summers. How many hours of sun a day are optimal for them? One problem may be a tree that has grown larger and may be blocking some sunlight, but even the parts of the plant not near the tree are showing less flowering. Would feeding it help?
Trumpet Vine does prefer full sun but can grow in a partial sun location. 6 to 8 hours of sunlight is considered full sun.
Here are some articles that will help with care information and helping promote flowering.
