I planted a few tomato plants a couple of weeks ago, I put them in the ground about 1/3 of the plant. Now they are going great I just wanted to know if I needed to prune the bottom leaves also should I be pinching the buds?
Tomatoes are best left to grow on their own. Pinching and pruning should be left to repairing damaged plants, or plants that have suffered from a lack of light and are stretched.
The best thing to be done, at this time, will be to provide the proper care and environment until you know what it is lacking. If it fails to branch, or becomes leggy, you will want to increase light or provide some more humidity, if possible.

I have been trying for 30 years! I've selected varieties resistant to everything! I’ve planted them in sterile containers, different garden soils, different parts of property. Worked on soil improvement, sprayed with serenade fungicide, but every year leaves start turning yellow at bottom of plant just when flowers are beginning to emerge. Then the leaves start curling slightly higher up and yellowing progresses upward. No spots, no greasy areas; fruit that does make it looks fine. Plants are stunted and bear poorly. Squash, and eggplant also are stunted. Beans may be stunted one year and not the next. Help!!!
Unfortunately, without photos it will be very hard to say!
There are several viral infections of tomatoes, one being Tomato Mosaic Virus, but it would show very definite signs of infection. Viral infections of plants are, usually, permanent and unable to be removed from an area.
The next thing to consider will be that one or more of their environmental needs are not met. This article will give you a thorough run-down of growing tomato plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/growing-tomatoes-guide.htm

Why do we have to germinate tomato seed in a small pot first and then put it in the ground can we put the seed in the ground to start with.
Yes, you can. People start tomatoes inside to get a jump on the season, since tomatoes are warm season vegetables. They don't perform well till the ground has warmed up.

I am starting some vegetables inside. Tomato, peppers, squash, cucumbers, melons, asect inside. I plan on starting several spaced about 25 days apart to spread harvest out. My garage is heated to about 65 - 70 degrees. Does it hurt them to place them outside on sunny days when temps are in the 40's and 50's the back in at night when it gets into the 30's.
I would go no lower than the 50's as some of those listed will not tolerate temperatures that low, as seedlings.

Recently planted tomatoes and cucumber seem to be wilting , I don’t have a drip system so I’m slow drip watering with a hose a couple times a week for 15 minutes , but they still seem wilted? I am also going to be treating for bugs , please help!
If the drip is real slow, they may not be getting a deep watering. A water gauge may be helpful. Here is more info on watering tomatoes:
