My azaleas is on the East side of our home but they just don't seem to grow, they just seem to set there year after year. I give them a lot of TLC, fertilize them and make sure they are watered for they are underneath the overhang on the house. I just don't get it. They stay green but the new growth is VERY small. What do I need to do????? Also, our tomatoes seem to produce tomatoes at first and then seems the blossoms turn brown and don't form tomatoes like they should. What kind of fertilizer should I use when I do fertilize them? I don't seem to have much luck and maybe I baby them too much but any suggestions you have would help. Thanks, Mrs. Mary Altmeyer, spdyy1@att.net

why do my tomato's have a acidic flavor instead of a sweet flavor?
Tomato flavor is usually a function of the variety selected. For next season, research varieties known to be sweet and plant those.
What kind of disease, how can I remedy that? Lower leaves develop brown edges, curl and wilt. Then the stem wilts, and I can easily get it off the plant.
This looks more like a moisture issue instead of a disease or pest.
You will need to water throughly daily and even twice a day when temperatures are above 80 degrees.
Your tomato plant also needs a support. You can purchase tomato cages or use stakes to support your plant.

When I buy my tomato plants from the local retailer, the root systems entirely FILL the little plastic "pot". They're absolutely root bound!! When I attempt the same for myself, the roots are shallow, sparse, and feeble. What am I doing wrong?
Tomato plants grown in the greenhouse are grown at the perfect temperature with the perfect amount of light and fed to produce plants that can be shipped.
A crowded pot of roots is not necessarily better or healthier.

what can i add to make the tomatoes, beans, peppers grow more fruit
Many things can influence how much these plants produce, but if you find that you have big beautiful plants that have very little fruit, you may have too much nitrogen in the soil. This can be countered by adding phosphorous and by reducing the amount of nitrogen added to the soil.

Do you have to plant 2 of the same kind of tomato plants next to each other in order for them to fertilize and bear fruit? I planted one "Jet Star" and it seems to be doing fine but the owner of the plant shop said I have to buy another one and plant it near the first one otherwise they won't fertilize? Is this true. I have very little room for a garden.
Tomatoes are self pollinating plants. You do not have to have two plants in order to get tomatoes. However, if you are having difficulty in getting your plant to produce tomatoes, there are some things you can do to help it along.
