blem ? The leaves are all turning yellow. I am not a gardener so can't help anymore than that.....
Does this particular shrub sit in a low spot, or remain wet for longer than the others? It has certainly contracted an infection. I would treat for fungal infection. There are several options here. This article will go over fungicide use: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/using-fungicides-in-garden.htm

Hello I bought a young bay tree and would like to braid the stems or at least shape it to a ball shape. The problem is that there are many branches coming from the soil, so I’m not sure how to make it one main stem so I can prune it. Should I separate the branches ? Cut them if they are connected and leave only one or two in the pot? Thank you !
We have just the article to help you with this:

Check underneath the leaves for a grayish white insect. "Bay Suckers" are sap suckers and can be remedied with a natural pyrethrum or horticultural oil.
Another possibility is desiccation of the plant through improper watering, dry spells, cold spells.

Just moved on not our new house and this bush is growing well. Is this a bay leaf? How can I tell?
It looks like it. Do you know what it smells like? Break off a leaf and crush it. If you don't know what it smells like you can buy dried bay leaves in the grocery store with the other spices.

Suggestion of treatment
Our experts recommend treating your tree with Neem oil. Here are a couple helpful articles for you:

I USE THIS FOR COOKING. AFTER I SPRAYED IT WHAT DO I DO THE LEAVES THAT HAD SPOTS AND WERE SPRAYED?
You didn't mention what kind of spray you used but, in any case, I would remove all the spotted, sprayed leaves and let the plant rejuvenate itself with the new leaves. I would not eat the spotted, sprayed leaves as they may not taste good and, depending upon what was sprayed on them, it may not be a good health choice.

I moved into this house recently, and in the garden is a very tall shrub?.. I THINK it’s a bay leaf tree, but I’m used to seeing them smaller. Is anyone able to confirm this is or isn’t for me so that I can dry some leaves with a peaceful mind!
Yes. This is, undeniably, a Sweet Bay. Here is an article that will help:
