I found wild rice growing on a hike by a lake recently. and wondered if I could dig a root and grow more or take wild rice from a organic store and plant it? as a wild source of rice?
You will not, generally, have luck planting from store bought grain, but you may have some luck by collecting grain from a wild source. They are short lived, so taking a root would not be advised.
