Do bees like Portulaca?
I am confused over Portulaca and Purslane (&/or Moss Rose). Are they of the same family? Seem very similar, but slightly different. Which works best in the landscape? Thank you.
They are in the same family; however, there are big differences. Portulaca grandiflora, aka moss rose, is grown for its flowers although it is also edible. It blooms much of the summer and tolerates hot, dry conditions. Common purslane, Portulaca oleracea, is considered a weed by most but is also edible. Flowers are small and yellow. For a nutritious boost, grow common purslane. For flowers, grow moss rose, sometimes referred to as moss rose purslane. They are both in the genus, Portulaca. The following link has an interesting article on growing and eating common purslane. https://wimastergardener.org/article/common-purslane-portulaca-oleracea/
I'm planting portulaca.
That depends on the conditions that it is in. If it dries out fast, then it will need watering frequently. If it does not, then it will be longer in between waterings.
A general rule is to only water once the top 2 inches of soil are bone dry. Personally, I like to wait longer for these flowers, since they prefer dry, rocky, and sandy soils.

Do they need to be inside?
This flower will die back at the end of the year, and reseed readily. There won't be any other care for the winter, unless you just want to have some indoors for the winter. This article will help:

Hanging baskets very exposed
You just need to cut it back a few inches. That should initiate more leaf growth.

I have two large containers that are full with portulaca and want to divide them in order to plant in smaller pots.
Yes, this is a good way to make more of them! Just divide the entire soil mass into 4 equal part and plant them into new containers.

I live in Viet Nam and have planted portulaca around some garden beds. They flower beautifully from 8:00am to 10:00am and then the flowers die off. Is there any way to extend the life of flowers?
Unfortunately, no. This trait is an interesting one, though. They will flower very reliably during that time, so you can use it like a clock, sort of!
