how toxic is in contact with human skin
If you have further questions, contact your physician or the Poison Control Center, 1-800-222-1222
Serious toxicity is tied to swallowing large amounts of potassium. Having powder or liquid formulations on the skin will result in only a small, if any, absorption of potassium. However, it can cause skin irritation. More serious is getting some in your eye. Unless one has kidney disease, the kidneys control potassium level in the blood and excrete excess amounts. It is always advisable to wear gloves when handling chemicals. http://ictulsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/MSDS_Red-Potash-Carlsbad.pdf

Where can I find a flower expert to speak with that would know about ALL flowers and the different species of flowers not just specific to a region? Thank you.
thank you Downtoearthdigs kindly for answering back so quickly. I have a list of flowers that I would need to know if they are poisonous or harmful to humans which I would like to avoid. There are roughly 50 or so, so I really need an expert that knows about flowers in dept. I'm willing to pay fees for any time as I know that would be alot of information.
Wow, that would be a huge topic!
What information are you looking to get?
We have several very experienced gardeners that love to help with your questions.
I would like to prune a shrub into a small tree (mature size 6'-8' H X 8'-10' W). Location gets all day sun. Any suggestions (varieties)
The one that we have featured right now is a hygrangea. They will appreciate some shade, though. They can do fine in full sun in cooler areas, but will need shade when it is hot.

It’s an outdoor plant with little yellow and red flowers
It doesn't appear to be anything of an issue. It just looks like some old growth is dying off, or plants around it are.
I plan to make one part of my garden about 15ft x 5ft to be a wild flower patch.
We do not usually recommend places to purchase products. There are many online nurseries that will provide such seed, and ship to just about anywhere.
Alternatively, you can check your local garden centers. They may carry what you are looking for.
