I would like to prune a shrub into a small tree (mature size 6'-8' H X 8'-10' W). Location gets all day sun. Any suggestions (varieties)

The one that we have featured right now is a hygrangea. They will appreciate some shade, though. They can do fine in full sun in cooler areas, but will need shade when it is hot.
