I noticed that this year the mango trees are not flowering, not one. I have been driving around the neighborhood and the cities around, and there is no mango trees with flowers....Normally this happens during December/January but not this year. Why?
Mango Tree are known to not flower reliably. Left on their own, they may even skip blooming some years.
Many growers rely on chemical forcing to induce a Mango to flower.
A specific schedule and mix of Potassium Nitrate is used on the trees to force blooming.
A professional should be consulted for this application.

I planted an East Indian mango tree 2 years ago. There are several branches growing and flowering around the trunk of the trees. Should these branches be removed. Also, will they prevent the trunk from maturing or growing in size? Thank you in advance for advice.
Yes, remove the sucker growths as soon as you see them growing.
They are likely growing from the root stock and can take energy from the tree.

I just purchased this Carrie mango tree and was wondering about how old it is.
This variety is a semi dwarf grafted tree.
This size specimen is not likely very old, the grower may have more information.
This variety is know for it's small compact size and the fact that it will produce fruit at a young age.
I have flower shoots on the top of the tree and the top row of leaves are not the deep green as the rest of the tree. What should I be doing?
I am not sure there is a problem here, but please send a photo for analysis if you are really worried. Are the leaves in question new? Mature leaves on a mango tree are a deeper dark green than the rest.

I'm growing mango plants from seed and they are in either 1 gal or 3 gal containers. Almost all of them (12 pots) have either got, or have started getting, different problems. I've read other suggestions about using a copper-based spray, or various insecticides, fertilizers, but these all seem to be aimed at much larger plants. My plants are all 6 months-1 year old and are growing inside by floor to ceiling windows (next to the beach in the Los Angeles area) with a special plant light on for 4 hrs/day. The photos below show what I think are 2 different problems: powdery mildew and anthracnose. How can I control and eliminate these in young plants? My tallest plant is about 18". Thank you for any help on this -- I love these plants and don't want to lose them.
This is likely a bacterial leaf spot.
You can apply a copper fungicide.
