My Basella alba is not growing as well as before. It got cut back after the typhoons and bushed out but now it is flowering. Yes, it has cooled off here too, and I wonder if the flowers are hindering its growth. They are everywhere. My objective is to have my spinach throughout winter and spring.

No, it won't survive a frost. You may be able to extend the season by covering it.
