I want to order a tree from lowes, but they do not mention height, only gallon size, I want to order tree 5 feet or taller.
We have no way of knowing what they are selling in those pots. I suggest calling and asking them directly.
Here's an article about Leyland Cypress trees:

Leyland Cypress Tree - Picture attached of vertical split in branch. Will this heal on its own and keep growing or should the tree be replaced? Thank you.
You would be surprised what a tree can survive! The injury will not likely kill the tree. That seems to be a very old injury that has already recovered.
There is nothing to be done at this time, but here are some articles to help you with the care of the tree:

I have a Leyland Cypress tree that has some type of cocoon that's destroying the tree. What do I need to do to prevent them from killing it? Thank you
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I assume that you mean bagworms, though. This article will help:

Hi I have noticed some strage discoleration on the main truck of 3 of my leylandii. Is this canker? What can i do ? Please advice. Thanks
I'm not really seeing anything out of the ordinary for these short lived trees. I can't see the rest of the tree to check for any other signs of damage, but it looks fine to me.
Just be aware that after about 20 years, these trees will, seemingly, die suddenly as they reach the end of their lifespan.
Here is an article for more information on the tree:

The bark of some of my trees are covered with layers of gray stuff and they are peeling off. Please have a look at attached photo for more clarification. What is this . Are they dying? This question was asked earlier but i think the photos were not clear. Do you think i need to take them out ? Are they going to spread the fungus to other parts of garden. I am really worried so any help will be greatly appreciated.
Ah, that is a nice, clear photo! These are very short lived trees. They are very likely to contract infections, and by the time it is treated, fully, the tree will be old.
Don't peel the bark, though. This will destroy its nutrient transport layer, which is just under the bark. No bark means no nutrients, and the quick death of the tree.
You can treat with a little wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime, according to all packaging instructions. It will prolong the, already, short life of the tree.
I have planted new Leyland Cypress Trees (about 6 mths. old) which are thin.
Yes, this is one of the conifers that will appreciate some shaping and pruning! Here is an article that will help:

Husband got too close to the Leland Cypress trees with weed killer last spring they are totally brown but he says they’re not dead.
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see the damage.
This article will help you to tell whether your trees are dead or not:
