I Have White Colored Mold In My Yard

Question

i keep coming across white mold in my soul outside. thus is underground, usually about 6-12″ down. i have sent pictures and spoke to the extension office & all they can tell me is that i won’t find mold underground, but they don’t know what it could be. this has an extremely strong mold smell & will such the moisture out of any plant near it. no one can tell me what or how to get rid of it.

To me, this describes Armillaria. This is going to be quite difficult to deal with, unfortunately. You may have luck with solarizing the area.
