Certified ExpertA.Generally, new sod needs to be watered every two to three days. Give it a thorough soaking, about an inch or so deep.

August 14, 2011A.I believe spring is best. Also, dry soil will not "move" as easy as wet soil

Certified ExpertA.Spring or fall is the best time for reseeding.
Fertilizing can be done about mid spring, after you see the lawn has started to grow and have come out of dormancy.
