I read the article on flea beetles and I think that's the problem I have with my tomato plants. A lot of the leaves are full of tiny holes. They are planted in Miracle Grow gardening soil in a container, not in the ground. There are three small tomatoes growing very slowly. I'm asking if they will be okay. There are many more tomato blooms but not any more tomatoes. I also have a rose bush which produced two pretty roses but after I clipped them, the leaves which also had many tiny holes as well all fell off and the bush looks dead even though I continue to water it. I know the tomatoes are annual, but I was wondering if the rose bush will come back next year. This was my first try at planting "real" plants on my new patio. So I was wondering also where the flea beetles could have come from. Thank you for your help.
There are numerous pests that can damage tomato plants.
You can treat the plant with Neem Oil.

I am reading that to make a neem oil spray I should use Neem oil, water, and dish washing liquid. It says an "eco-friendly" dish washing liquid. How can I tell if my dw liquid is eco-friendly? I have some non-concentrated Dawn that says it contains no phosphates and has bio-degradeable surfactants. Another bottle I have is concentrated and says it contains surfactants both anionic and ionic. Would either of these be okay or should I choose another type? Are there any brands that you recommend? Thank you!
Regular Dawn that does not contain any fragrance, bleach or oxygen cleaners can be used.

I was wondering if the blank vine weevil bites or stings, or is dangerous in anyway in humans or animals?
They are not harmful to humans or pets.
