I recently planted two hydrangeas, a rose bush, lavender and two gardenias. Did I do too much?
That depends on space, location and what you expect of the plants.
What do I do? Also, flowers are browning and falling off. I live Costa Rica and the nursery I bought it from said they grow here and will be fine. Is it getting too much water? The plant gets mostly shade all day.

I bought an expensive hydrangea plant four years ago and although I transplanted it to a better location and it's actually growing now, it doesn't bloom. I don't want to use any non-organic pesticide type of chemicals because we have a well and all of that goes into our drinking water. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
I don't think it's a pest problem. This link is to an article about reasons hydrangea won't bloom: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/hydrangea/hydrangea-not-blooming.htm
If you are using a high nitrogen fertilizer, I suggest you use a well-balanced fertilizer like 14-14-14 time release of 10-10-10 granular, according to package directions. I also would suggest bone meal to boost your phosphorus.
How to propagate hydrangea?

My leaves have brown edges and blue blooms have purple spots in them. I was told to use a copper fungicide spray. Also, butterfly bush leaves have yellow discoloring in middle of leaves and some have holes.
Usually brown edges on hydrangea means the plant has experienced dry conditions at some point. This cannot be reversed, but new growth should not have the brown edges if the plant is getting enough water. This article should help with the color problems: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/hydrangea/change-hydrangea-color.htm
The butterfly bush should be checked for pests. Neem oil would be a good spray. If the yellow leaves are older leaves, this is normal.
I have read about the pruning. I didn't prune and we didn't a have cold winter. It has came back as tall and big as last year but, it does not have any blooms. It is very healthy plant, 6 foot tall.

Why doesn"t my hydrangea flower. It grows 4-5 ft tall and 2-3 ft wide. How can I help it flower?
