My mini holly bushes are beautiful and one is loaded with berries. However, I just found a few white leaves on them. Don't want to lose them. What can I do?
It sounds like a fungus, possibly powdery mildew. You can treat the plant with a fungicide and it should be fine.
Thank you. I think it's mites so I sprayed and am checking to see if it improves.
Our holly bushes have deposits on the undersides of the interior leaves. They are about 1/8 inch long and 1/32 inch wide, white. They are not like the brown scale described in your info. There is no evidence of these deposits on the outside of the plants; we discovered them when we pruned the bushes down. I'm filling out your diagnostic sheet and sending a sample, but how quickly can you tell us what to do. We are worried about other neighboring plants, especially my neighbor's hollies, which so far are unaffected.
This is most likely mealy bugs, the scale bug's counterpart. I would treat the plant with neem oil. It is effective against both of these bugs. Here is more information that may help you:

Our holly bushes have a white worm type fungus under the leaves. What can we do to prevent any further damage?
Try neem oil. It is not only effective in treating a myriad of pest problems but is also a great fungicide. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm
We have noticed our holly bushes have yellow leaves here and there throughout the plant, but otherwise seem healthy and have many berries. These are fairly small bushes, two years old. Could you suggest how to cure this?

Female holly bush has lots of new growth, plenty of berries, but many leaves have 1/16 inch x 1/4 inch white powdery strips on the underside. What is this and how can I get rid of it?
Powdery mildew is caused by fungus that attack Holly leaves, sometimes covering them entirely with a thin white powdery coating. For more information, here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/get-the-cure-for-powdery-mildew.htm

My holly bush leaves are dying and there are white spots on my branches where the leaves are dying.
It sounds like it could be scale. This article will help:

We have found neem oil effective on most damaging pests. Here is more information on neem oil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm
The huge holly bush in my neighbor's yard is covered with a white fungus or larvae on the leaves. As this overhangs the fence between us, I am concerned it will drop and infect my plants. The lady gardener says it is not white fly.
Are the areas powdery in nature? If so you are dealing with powdery mildew. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/get-the-cure-for-powdery-mildew.htm
If not, it could be scale or mealybugs, both of which could be treated with neem oil (as can powdery mildew). I have found it to be very effective against these pests. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm
