My hibicus is covered with buds. They usually fall off before opening. I feed them with Miracle Gro every 2 weeks but not happy with the blooming. We have very few blooms (1 or 2) & then buds are on the ground. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Years ago, a "little old lady" told me, "Honey, you need to fertilize weekly, weakly." I've never forgotten, and now say it often. Always follow package directions. But, I'm also a proponent of the idea of diluting the package's recommendations to 25% and administering four time more often. (Ie, 2 teaspoons fertilizer to 1 gallon water, once a month...i'd use 1/2 teaspoon weekly.) I've found a well-balanced fertilizer is better for plants than one with wide differences in NPK%'s. I prefer 20-20-20 or 10-10-10. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/hibiscus-flowers-hibiscus-blossoms-falling-off-plant.htm

I live in the Texas Hills Country - Zone 9 - and last year my one hibiscus bloomed beautifully. I have another one this year and recently both had started to drop their blooms just as they are about to open. What am I doing wrong?

Would seven dust help with the bugs ?
My hibiscus leaves have yellow spots. Can it be fixed?
It could be any number of things. With no specifics to go on, I can't answer the question. Hopefully, this article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/answers-to-what-causes-hibiscus-leaves-turning-yellow.htm
What can I use to get rid of whatever is eating the lower leaves off my hibiscus bush? We cannot use any pesticides or fertilizer in Pinellas, County until the rainy season is over in October. Also, when is a good time to cut my bushes back to get them to look fuller. They are young plants about 3 feet tall but looking kind of scrawny.
I would try neem oil for the pests. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
You can cut the plant back in spring. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm
My hibiscus plant is very nice, but the buds keep falling off before they bloom. What's going on?

Is there still hope for it?
Yes, there is. You need to determine if it is dead or not. This article will help with that:
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/how-to-tell-if-a-plant-is-dead-and-how-to-recover-an-almost-dead-plant.htm
If it is not dead, you should be able to save it. Hibiscus a pretty resilient and will regrow leaves if they lose them as long as you continue to water it and give it proper light.
