It is wilting even though I just watered it. Does not seem overly wet. What do I do now?
Is the soil dry or wet to the touch?
Wilting can be due to lack of water or to much water.
Does the pot drain well? Make sure the soil is well draining and that the plant is not sitting in water. Soggy soil and wet roots can lead to root rot.
Your plant will take much less water indoors than it did outdoors.

I've been told that for Utah winters I need to bring my hibiscus indoors, but I planted it in my garden along a fence line. I've been told to cut it down low to the ground but how low? Once it's cut back, I plan on covering it so it doesn't freeze, but I' m pretty clueless when it comes to my favorite flowers. I just don't want to kill it.
Tropical Hibiscus will not winter over outdoors in your area.

My hibiscus has little holes on the leaves and the buds keep falling off.
This could be due to Thrips, Aphids, Spider Mites or a few other insects.
Treat the plant with Neem Oil.
Neem Oil will take care of most insects and is also a fungicide.
It is safe for people and pets.

Pruning hibiscus plant in Brooksville, Fl...can I do it now? It is blooming and straggly.
Heavy pruning should take plant in the spring.
Pruning between Feb and March helps promote new growth and flowering.
This will also help the plant keep a nice shape and not become unkempt.
Do not do heavy pruning in fall or winter.
Remove any dead or diseased material any time of the year.
If you really must remove any plant material that is simply to leggy, keep it to a minimum.
I have two bushes about 5 to 6 ft high on each side of my front porch steps. One has variegated leaves. I would like to trim them to look more uniform but do not want to hinder bloom growth. I live in FL and temps rarely get below fifty. Can you advise?
Heavy pruning should be done in early spring-- February or March.
Avoid fall and winter for heavy pruning.
Light pruning can be done any time to clean up broken or diseased branches.
