I have about 5 of these plants that have been recently taken from their shipping pots and transplanted into a well-draining, 15-in. hanging basket in mostly shade. The basket remains damp. It was transplanted appoximately two weeks ago. All the plants, with the exception of one, look healthy with several almost blooming buds. The one exception is a plant that remains limp. I don't know if I'm just impatient or if I need something else.
I would check the roots around the unhealthy one. It may have an air pocket that is hurting the roots, which is affecting the rest of the plant.
I was wondering can you get a fuchsia flower to root from a piece that has broke off?
Yes, you can. This article will help:

There are tiny white insects that look something like whiteflies, but are on top of leaves by the thousands! Leave sticky film ON TOP. On Fuchsia, ornamental plum tree, strawberry, etc. What are they?
It sounds like aphids. This article will help:

Aphids. they are all over my roses as we speak
When picking off the dead flowers off of my Fuchsia there is a green area the actual flower was attached to. Should that come off or should I leave it?
My fuchsia's leaves always turn yellow and fall off. Why?
Most likely they are either underwatered or in too much sun. They should be watered once a day and grow in part sun to full shade.
We have a fuchsia tree in a pot on our patio. What is the best way to keep it alive over the winter so it will bloom again next year?

I bought "Happy Wedding day" fuchsia this spring. It's doing really well with loads of flowers. Unfortunately, for some reason, the buds fail to open properly and the outer leaves have gone brown. It's such a shame, as they would have been splendid had they opened fully. It was outside in a patio tub. Could it be the heavy rains we have had? I have now brought it in. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks, Vicky
I hope this link helps. Too much rain could indeed be the problem. They don't like to be wet...........just moist.
