I purchased a bare root Desert Rose planted as directed indoors . The plant got leaves with brown tips and dried up and fell off. Now I have large flower buds with no leaves. What's wrong ?
They need gritty soil and lots of light. Here are more tips on growing desert rose:

We noticed this weird thing growing out of our dessert rose plant about a few weeks ago. But we don't know what it could be. When searching online today, I saw something about seed pods. However, this thing doesn't look like the seed pods I've seen online. Is it a seed pod or something else? Thank you
It looks like you have a seed pod forming. Lucky you! If you are going to plant the seeds, do it as soon as they mature because they need to be fresh to germinate well. Also, watch some videos on when to wrap the seedpods with elastic thread so they don't open and disperse before you can get the seeds.

es all its leaves. Is this normal?
Yes, it is normal for leaf loss when a plant is dormant.
As long as it leafs back out in spring when you return it outside I wouldn't worry about it. They need very little water in winter and no fertilization.

I just got it two weeks ago. It was in a greenhouse. It's in my Florida room which is glassed
It may be responding to the change of environment. Maybe these articles will give you some insight:

Shelley, I just wanted to thank you for the great article you wrote about repotting a desert rose. Like you, I was also hesitant to repot my desert rose, but after reading what you wrote I conjured up the courage to do so. And I'm so glad I did! While repotting, I noticed the soil was really wet and I know that by doing what you recommended that my desert rose is so much better now. Thanks for the great advice! If you have any other advice, do let me know. Now I am hoping that my rose will finally bloom. The leaves were slowly turning yellow and dropping off before I repotted.
Thank you for the kind words. Here is help to get your desert rose to bloom:

It had happened once before but I just pruned the top branch off, hoping it would go away. I also observed that the leaves at the bottom were turning yellowish green. The underside of the leaves also seems to have small black dots, I think they're just dirt since they easily came off when I brushed the leaves, but I'm not so sure about it. Also, The topmost leaves suddenly fell as I was checking the underside of the leaves. I live in a tropical country and it's usually 27°~32°C (or about 80°~90°F) in here.
Your desert rose could use a few treatments with neem oil and/or insecticidal soap. Here's info on the soap:
