I have a partial fan of daylilies looks healthy but does not fan leaves all around just 2 directions. It appears healthy, bloomed a few years and then stopped. It gets care. I live in Colorado with a dry climate. Help
Make sure your daylily has plenty of sun and try dividing it. Sometimes that will get them blooming again.

We just moved here 2 yrs. ago but I have had lots of Stella before and never have had this problem. We just moved a few miles so the climate is the same.

Hi all, I'm in Mass zone-6b and have this mystery flower in my garden this year. I don't know what it is. At first I thought it might be some kind of lily, but I don't think lily have leaves like this. I'm sure someone will have an eye for this one. It is pretty nice looking. See attached picture. It is the pinkish flower with the fanning leaves. Pay no attention to that nice yellow day lily. (That is doing really nice as well) Thanks, in advance,
It is another type of Daylily, like your yellow Stellas. Here is an article that will help:

is eating the stocks right around and then they just fall . We have checked and there are no bugs and the rest of the plants are all healthy. Once they get back from camp - I will maybe get her to send a picture of the.
Unfortunately, it is hard to say, without photos.
Unless you catch, in the act, what is causing the issue it can be very difficult to say what is causing the issue.
There are a few things that you can do do try and protect them, in the meantime:

can I cut back the green leaves of my daylillies once they stop blooming so they don't look so messy?
I wouldn't. I would only cut the flowering stalk once it dies. This article will help you with their care:

This orange day lily is growing through my other plants. Most of it just sends up a stalk. Some of the stalks produce a flower. Please help.
This invasive species is quite hard to control. Outside of killing everything in the area, it will be impossible. Keeping them cut, completely, as each grows will keep the population to a minimum, but this will not guarantee that it will not return.

If all else fails- They are a sustainable food source, since all parts of the plant are edible. Just be sure that what you have is, in fact, a daylily. Unfortunately, your photo did not come through, so I am unable to identify the plant in question.
If you are certain of the id, then this article will offer another way to utilize these, pesky, plants:

Either will be acceptable, but Autumn would be better. This will allow them to be exposed to the cold, which can improve germination and growth.
