Every day more of the end of flower stalks are clipped off. I thought it a neighbor, now I'm wondering crows,deer, or?

My crocsomia has been lush and flowering beautifully. Now I’m seeing chewed up notched-out leaves. I found a grasshopper (who was big like a Mack truck) chowing down. What can I do to save the leaves and rid the plant of this pest?
