How close can I plant Chaste Trees together?
Your tags should indicate the width needed for your variety of chaste trees. Generally, they grow 10 to 15 feet wide. That would mean leave at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) on each side.

we have read that chaste trees don't require much water. they were planted 3 days ago & it has been hot & windy since. now they are quite droopy but not dried out. do they need to be watered every day since they were just planted ?
I hope your trees have perked up by now. They are probably experiencing some transplant shock. Don't overwater them - you don't want their roots to drown, and you're right, they don't need a lot of water, once they're established. It will be fine. There still will be plenty of light. It does need very well draining soil if lots of rain is expected.

Is it in a permanent container or the nursery pot? If it is still in the nursery pot, it needs to move up a size or two or be planted in the ground. Plants in containers need to be watered more often, but the soil should be very well draining or it will get root rot. Here is how to grow it in a container:
