I bought some cauliflower plants and the stems are approximately about 6" long before the first leaf. should I plant them deep in the ground.
It sounds like a lack of light has made them stretch. That, or cramped container space.
It is not advised to plant them much deeper than the crown. This can cause rot, and the loss of the plants.
Here is an article that will help you to grow them:

My cauliflower seedlings are suspect. I can see bugs or egg sacs on the underside of a leaf in one of these images. Nevertheless, I think the main issue is mosaic. I hope I'm wrong and would appreciate your thoughts.
It does look like the descriptions and photos. I think I would start over with the cauliflower.

The leaves have been damaged and look like they've been sawn. This is the first time I've grown cauliflowers so I'm at a loss.
It is likely worms or caterpillars feeding. Here is how to treat:

Went to harvest my homegrown cauliflower but I saw a lot of green larvae underneath. Is it still edible?
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the pests in question. This article will help, in the meantime:

ge enough but look kind of purple on the inside. I don’t want to pull if it purple
They should purple as they mature. A feeding can help to bring out some more of that color, as can as much sun exposure as possible.
