looks like I have some sort of beatle eating the leaves. What can I do to get rid of them and save my plant?
There are a few pests that can attack Canna Lily, including, Aphids, Japanese Beetle, Canna Leafroller, and numerous caterpillars.
Pick off any caterpillars or Japanese Beetles that are visible.
If you can't see a pest, it could be Aphids or slugs.

I have canna seeds that I have taken from my cannas several days ago. Can I store these to plant at a later time? If so, how do I store the seeds? Store in a plastic bag? Or should I germinate and plant them right now. I live in Chesterfield, Mo. Barb

I live in an area with a lot of elk and deer. Are Cannas safe in my area?
Canna is said to be deer "resistant". Nothing is deer proof when they are hungry.
Ideas headed my canna flowers but have little round pods growing up the stems. Should I pick them off. I have no flowers blooming.
These are the seed pods. You can remove them from the plant or, if you're interested in trying your hand at seed propagating them, you can leave them to dry and turn brown prior to removing.
No bloom. Tried various pruning methods, including "none. This is the 1st time the buds look pointy. Usually red berries that gradually get dark & dry up. Florida, hot, sunny, plenty water Thank you.
