How do I get it to bloom?
Check the growing conditions with the information in the articles below.
You also may want to do a soil test. Excess nitrogen will inhibit flowering but give a nice green healthy plant.
Your County Extension Office can help with a soil test for a few dollars.
Correcting excessive nitrogen can be done with an addition of phosphorous, Bone Meal is a good way to do this.

I was given a sprig from a RED camellia bush. I planted it about three years ago. It had its first bloom this year and it was WHITE. How did this happen?

The plant is just showing your a part of it's genetic make up.
We have a large camellia plant which was here when we moved in at the end of 2000. It normally produces a lot of blooms. I looked this morning and I can only see three good blooms. There are also a number of very tiny buds. What, if anything should I do ?
There could be several reasons for lack of buds or a change in your Camellia.
This could be attributed to insects, disease, nutrition deficiencies, environmental changes or incorrect pruning.
Here is a list of articles that will help you pinpoint the cause and how to make adjustments to your plants care.
