Leaves fall over and get squishy and smell bad.
You may be overwatering your plant.
You need to check the soil before watering. Soil should be moist but not soggy.
Well draining soil with an adequate draining pot is important.
If the bulb has all ready began to rot (the smell may be the biggest clue) it may be best to throw away.

I received a Calla lily for My birthday. It is doing fine inside the house. It has gotten 2 new lilies and looks like new shoots coming up also. I would like to know should I replant it in a larger planter. Also, if I can plant it outdoors in my garden and how to care for it? Thank you.
Here is a great article that will help you.

If the calla lily is in a plastic container from the store and the flowers and a few leaves are wilting, what do you think this could mean? We have watered it and it sits in an office all day with office lights on and we have put it in the sun for 1 day for a few hours but nothing seems to make it look better. Any help would greatly be appreciated Thanks Tiffany
Watering, either to much or to little.
Calla Lilies would like a nice sunny window to sit in.

I have several calla lilies but one set that I purchased two years ago just doesn't bloom. I read your advice but nothing. They go dormant all winter and when I plant them (container), they grow beautiful foliage but no flowers. Any suggestions?
Try giving them a boost of phosphorous with bone meal or a "bloom booster" fertilizer. Some varieties of calla lilies (especially those sold as houseplants) are just to finicky be able to get to rebloom in a normal household environment. Keep this in mind and realize that you may just not be able to coax it into bloom.
Our calla lilies are rangy 3 - 3.5 feet in length, turning yellow and falling over from weight! The blooms lasted all winter and spring and were plentiful and beautiful. Then they started to fall over after a heavy rain for several days. We held off watering and the leaves have remained but there are fewer of them. They were rotting. I pulled out all the rotted leaves and flowers. They were transplanted a year ago to a more moist soil beside the house, 15 feet of an 18-inch bed and in a morning full sun location. Soil was just amended with horse manure and new topsoil before planting last year. Now they look horrible!! What to do now!?

Yellow calla lily turning brown on edge of new blossoms. It was planted in a container about a week ago, getting watered and afternoon sun for at least 6 hours. What can I do?
The blossoms may be just aging.

Do calla lilies keep blooming once they have flowers? I know some bulbs bloom once like tulips. What about calla lilies? Will they keep blooming during summer months?
Calla Lilies bloom typically in the summer and fall.
